My experience at Young Harris College helped kickstart my career and marriage, and I love cheering on the Mountain Lions in the Enchanted Valley. I began my career in politics in 1994 in Pooler as a member of the City Council, and I became mayor in 1996. I then moved on to the Georgia House of Representatives before being elected to the U.S. Congress as Representative of Georgia’s First District in 2014.
